Paul,

You should know what brought about the idea, and suggestion that your website be added to The Virtual Wall. Dennis Kinnard was another new LT with me, and ELEVEN others assigned to A/1/319 before we all started trickling out to Vietnam. I knew he was killed in Vietnam, but never any details. I wrote something about his, and Mike Parmerter's deaths some years ago, on some site that I don't even recall. Robert Richardson, who Dennis replaced in the field, emailed me, after finding my note, to inquire about him. This was at least a year ago. Recently I was playing on the Internet, and did a search for Dennis's name, and found his photo on the the other site. I sent it to Richardson, working in Iraq for Halliburton, and we again discussed Dennis. I also read, and contacted the man who had witnessed LT Kinnard's death in the field. I am sending you the collection of emails, so that you can see how something small, can become something positive for others. Thanks for what you did to get it all started, and I am personally very thankful that you were generous enough to donate your hard work to further distribute the stories of our comrade's deaths in Vietnam, now so long ago.
