I'm Sam Maslowski, the National Membership Secretary for the Society of the 173d Airborne Brigade. I just found your website today and it is wonderfully done. I went to the the KIA section and spent quite some time there. Again, very moving. However, I noticed that a gentleman in our company D/3/503 is missing from your records and was wondering how to go about getting him added.

Though I did not serve with Roger, his parents are Gold Star Members of our Chapter that we have grown to love. I left 'Nam prior to Roger's death, but several others I did serve with were with him at the time. At all the reunions for the 173d, you'll find us on Friday night in the Hospitality suite carving up a watermelon and sharing it with all of Roger's fellow HERD brothers in his honor. It would mean a lot to see his name listed. His name is Roger Joseph Kopke, he was SSG. His parents are Joe and Elaine Kopke.
